This was a really great movie! The characters and relationships are very "real."
BP did an excellent job, as did the rest of the cast. If you haven't seen it, it's well
worth the few dollars' rental!

I also enjoyed Crazy in Love if for nothing else than to watch the great on-screen
chemistry between Bill Pullman and Holly Hunter. The two of them make a dynamite couple!
This is one about the real-life struggles of relationships and family life that aired on
television but is now available to rent. Definitely worth seeing.
Susan :
There are so few films that give us strong complex female characters - this one is one of
those few. The acting (except for Julian Sands, who is always a bit over the top) was
excellent, the story draws you in, the scenery gorgeous. Only one small criticism...the
last ten minutes covered way too much and tied everything up too neatly...it's like they
didn't know how to deal with some events or how to end it.

This movie was not quite what I was expecting, but I enjoyed it very much. Thought Pullman
was quite good in his role as the frustrated but loving husband. He and Hunter did have a
great chemistry and I understand they've known each other a long time and worked on the
stage together earlier in their careers. A really nice little film. Does anyone know if it
aired on network or cable (HB0) TV?

Was able to finally catch "Crazy in Love" this morning (3/21/97) at 12:50 a.m.
on TNT. What a charming, loving story. Was very much touched by the love expressed by all
for the grandmother suffering obviously from alzheimers. Poignant and unforgetable.
Scenery was beautiful and of course Bill was perfect as usual. Holly Hunter is great also,
but so was the rest of the cast. Makes one long to leave the 'city' life.

Lee (leesy@wam.umd.edu) :
This is one of Holly Hunter's best movies, but then again, she makes all of her movies
great. She and Pullman had a great on screen chemistry which made you really care about
them and want to watch. It dealt with a lot of real problems people face- aging
grandmother, jealous wife, husbands having affairs.... It was just a very well made movie.
Did I mention Holly Hunter was great in it?
