I laughed so hard! What a great movie. I loved all the actors in this movie except Ken Wahl - Bill, Brad Pitt (another BP!), Elizabeth McGovern, and Harley Jane Kusiak. The plot is so amusing, perhaps somewhat predictable but done in such an entertaining way. Alice Zemaitis (azemaiti@staff.uiuc.edu)
I couldn't wait for this movie to come out after seeing Sleepless in Seattle because it looked like Bill was going to get a bigger part in a romantic comedy. I enjoyed this movie especially for Bill's parts and once again thought he made the perfect family man. I really enjoyed the parts where he played the harmonica and his great lines such as in response to his wife Kathy when she says she was "happy in a miserable kind of way" and he asks, "Is that worse than being miserable in a happy kind of way?" and when he asks of his wife who has taken a Valium and fallen asleep on top of their dryer, "I got the kids because you apparently wanted to sleep on the dryer?" Susan \his is a movie for anyone who thinks the grass was greener in high school...IT WASN'T! Anne-Louise
This definitely wasn't Bill's best movie, only because he didn't have the main part. However he still did a fantastic job in playing the confused husband he was. I laughed a lot but I wan't as enthralled as I would have been if watching any other 'Bill' movie. Jeanette Young (jeanette@ca.com.au)
This movie is called "The Indecent Favour" here in Australia, and it was on TV only last week, so of course I just HAD to watch it! Brad Pitt in it too - what a bonus!! I laughed so much watching this, it is a really funny movie, and very easy on the eye. I loved Bill's character, he is a bit vague in a really likeable way, and I agree with the comments about his "is that like being miserable...." etc, I thought that was clever. I loved the way he was looking for Dennis Hopper at the gallery and his comments about the price of the paintings! The bits where he is acting the fool with the harmonica are really lovely, and I have watched this one over and over in the week that I have had a copy of it! I LOVE BILL PULLMAN!! Eleanor Palmer
I have experienced the deaths of four dear friends since mid-December(it is now January 29)....Fortunately I have 'The Favor' for distraction. Believe me, I needed that and played it over and over and over again. I especially enjoy the 'harmonica dance' Bill performs...I have concluded that my husband taught him this dance...it sure looks familiar. The movie is well cast, acted and directed. Miss McGovern has beautiful timing as does our dear Bill. Brad Pitt - I had never seen before...adorable young man....But still outshone by OUR BILL.

I enjoyed this film very much. Bill did a great job with that role. He's definitely very talented. I liked the part when he confronted his wife in Denver. He looked really hot. My mother actually says that actor who was Tom (I don't know his name) is way better looking than Bill. Whatever! Sauce
One of the best examples of Bill Pullman's capabilities at controlled skill. He plays the confused and hurting hubby very effectively, yet his skill at comedy comes through very clearly. Harley Jane Kozak's attempt at seduction in the kitchen scene and his superb self description of blindness to the obvious is prrrricelesssss. Kudos also to the actor who portrays Joe. Wonderfully obnoxious!! McGovern and Pitt are great. Only hope that Bill's real wife, Tamara, is like 'Kathy' (without the fantasy). A delight.
