Well, if you miss the first few minutes of the movie in order to get popcorn, you might
just miss Bill's uncredited performance in this movie. He plays a constuction foreman
opposite a mental patient played by Richard Gere, with whom he played again later that
year in Sommersby. Knowing that Bill's first love was actually construction, the role does
have a certain charm to it, and you can tell that Bill enjoys himself in this performance.
The movie is actually a good movie about the dilemmas often faced by psych patients and
their clinicians. I work in the health care field, and found this movie to be very
realistic of the setting in which a patient may end up. Enjoy.

I thought Mr. Jones was a very strange movie. Bill has a small part in the beginning and a
small part in the end. The only thing this movie was good for was to catch little pieces
that relate to Bill's real life and movie career. Bill's character in this movie is from
Binghamton, New York which is where Bill filmed his other Mike Figgis film, Liebestraum,
and as Louise mentioned Bill plays a carpenter in this movie which is also one of his real
life passions. This one is only for true blue Richard Gere fans!

Well - I didn't know Bill was even in this movie!

OK, I rented this movie cause Bill Pullman was in it. I didn't think he only had 5 lines!
Plus, he's not even in the credits, but the street hot dog vendor is. I coudn't believe
it! If you love Richard Gere, then you'll like this movie, but don't rent it just to see
Bill!! You'll be very disappointed! ![]()
