Georgian Erickson (gfe@digital.net):
I think they could have done a lot more with that character that Bill Pullman played. But
what do you expect with a small role.

Is there anybody else out there who thought Meg Ryan was stupid for giving up Walter (Bill
Pullman's character) for Tom Hanks' character? I did!! This is the movie where I first
noticed Bill Pullman and thought he was a rising star to watch in the future. From then on
I kept an eye on his career. I thought he was very charming and endearing as Walter and
that Annie (Meg Ryan) should have felt very lucky to have a guy like him. I did enjoy the
movie despite the fact that I would have liked to see Walter win in some way. Maybe they
should have had someone else to set him up with in the end? Despite this, the movie is a
good one and well worth your rental dollars, if you already don't own a copy!

The ONLY thing going for this movie is that it isn't AS sappy as the film it plays on (An
Affair to Remember). If you like hopelessly romantic flicks, While You Were Sleeping is a
much better choice.
Anne-Louise:
"Sleepless in Seattle" is one of my favourite films and I can't understand why
hardly anyone agrees with me. Bill Pullman was great and my heart went out to him when
Annie broke up with him, (he was such a nice guy). But considering the plot, and staying
together just couldn't happen, I would have loved to see Bill Pullman playing Tom Hank's
character. It is a fantastic movie though!

Only got one thing to say - MEG RYAN MADE THE WRONG CHOICE!!!

If I was Meg, I would have gone with Bill!! Not Tom!!!!
Jackie Waldman
(Shona12@aol.com) :
I thought Meg Ryan's character was NUTS for letting go of Bill Pullman's character Walter.
Even though she didn't know what Tom Hanks' character looked like, she should have
realized how much sweetier and sexier Walter was. Last comment: Bill's THE one!!

Delightful, light and entertaining. Nora Ephron does a wonderful job with this script.
Bill Pullman, although his character role is small gives us a great performance. He is so
versatile!!
